Onyebuchi Chukwu Decamps From PDP To APC - Politics

The immediate past Minister of Health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) for the All Progressives Congress(APC).Last Friday, Chukwu registered as a member of APC at his Ugwuegu Ward in Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State in the presence of scores of his supporters; APC members and officials. Chukwu’s defection to the APC, an opposition party in Ebonyi State, has heated the political landscape in Ebonyi State as several of his supporters are expected to join him in APC. Professor C.O. Onyebuchi Chukwu is an Afikpo indigene born April 22, 1962. He was the Minister of Health until his resignation in October 2014. He has had a distinguished career in academia, medicine, administration, government and public service.
